Bio
Katrina Julianne Scott was born in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1999. She moved to Middle Tennessee in 2017 to attend Middle Tennessee State University where she graduated in 2021 with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Visual Art and French and minors in Psychology and University Honors. During her time at MTSU, Katrina explored a wide variety of media, including painting, sculpture, and book-making. For her Honors thesis project, she created an immersive multi-media exhibition featuring a series of mixed media oil paintings, hand-dyed fabric panels, and a book project to express the complexities of women’s anger. This exhibition will act as a catalyst for future artistic endeavors, and she hopes to show the installation at more galleries in the future.
